Duties and responsibilities of the Department for Forensic Medicine Laboratories are as follows:
- Planning, coordination of work, and communication within the Department;
- Implementation and maintenance of quality management system;
- Implementation of safety and protection measures at work, and provision of quality conditions for employees;
- Preparation and implementation of the unique methodology, working methods and priorities set out by the General Director and the Quality Manager;
- Plans the budget, consumable and other materials for the needs of the Directorate;
- Plans activities for improving staff performance, through motivation and training materials development.
